7th International Chrysophyte Symposium - Keynote Speakers

 

Dear Colleagues:

 

We are excited to announce three prominent keynote speakers: Andy Knoll (Harvard University) - considered one of America's top paleontologists (http://www.eps.harvard.edu/people/faculty/knoll/) ; Mitch Sogin (Marine Biological Laboratory, Woods Hole) - a top molecular biologist involved in emerging technologies and in the International Census of Marine Microbes (http://jbpc.mbl.edu/labs-sogin.html) and; James Rohlf (SUNY-Stony Brook) - a biometrician and morphometrician (http://life.bio.sunysb.edu/ee/rohlf/)

 

We have also arranged three mini-symposia on "Paleolimnology", "Heterokont Phylogeny" and "Signals & Smells: Chemical Ecology and Taste & Odor".  Details will follow.

 

The meeting will be held June 23-26, 2008, at Connecticut College, New London, CT, USA.
