Dear INA community,
I'm pleased to announce that at the Croatian Geological Survey is open a
postdoc possition untill December 2027 on a project: Tracking Eocene
climate change in the Istrian basin (Croatia) of the Neotethys. More info

*Job description*: The position includes field and laboratory research on
the analysis of calcareous nanoplankton, stable isotopes of oxygen and
carbon and the TEX86 method. The dissemination of results at scientific
conferences and publishing in scientific journals is expected.
It is desirable that the candidate has already acquired prior
knowledge/experience in the aforementioned analyses.
Along with the written application for the competition, an applicant must
meet the conditions prescribed by The Act on Higher Education and
Scientific Activity and attach:
• CV (Curriculum Vitae),
• proof of the acquired academic degree of PhD,
• proof of meeting the conditions in 3/9 additional requirements for
associate positions are desirable: 1. participation in an international
scientific conference with a lecture in which the candidate is the first
author; 2. review of a paper in a scientific journal; 3. participation in a
scientific/professional project; 4. training in a national/foreign
institution related to scientific interest/area/research topic; 5.
membership in the editorial board of a scientific/popular science journal;
6. participation in organising a seminar or workshop; 7. participation in
education, courses, workshops, summer school in the relevant field;
8.  application/carrying out a competitive project for young scientists;
9. participation in teaching

The deadline is 30 days after the application has been published.

Candidates who meet the requirements will be invited to an interview or/and
