Puede ser de interés. Saludos

Dear all,

I wondered if you would be interested to contribute- or recommend your
colleagues- to the below Special Issue of Protist, on all things
dinoflagellate?
https://www.sciencedirect.com/special-issue/320810/dinoflagellates-the-black-box-of-eukaryotic-evolution
<https://www.sciencedirect.com/special-issue/320810/dinoflagellates-the-black-box-of-eukaryotic-evolution>

We are looking for submissions towards the end of this year of both primary
and review papers, and I'm particularly happy to welcome contributions from
junior researchers.

With best wishes,

Richard

*Dinoflagellates: the Black Box of Eukaryotic Evolution*
Submission deadline: *30 September 2025*

The Special Issue accepts research on all aspects of dinoflagellate biology
from single model cells to heterogeneous aquatic communities. Submissions
led by junior researchers are particularly welcome.

*Special issue information:*

This Special Issue seeks to unify papers from across the life sciences on
dinoflagellates, from biochemical to ecosystem scales. Particular interest
will be in identifying knowledge gaps in our understanding of how
dinoflagellates work, and challenges for the next generation of
dinoflagellate biologists to study. Publications led by junior researchers
(undergraduate, graduate or postdoctoral researchers) are particularly
encouraged.
Key questions include but are not limited to:

   - Molecular architecture of the dinoflagellate genome: how do
dinoflagellates effectively manage, replicate, and express seemingly vast
   numbers of nuclear genes?
   - Composition and dynamics of the dinoflagellate cell: what proteins
support dinoflagellate organelles, where do they come from, and how do they
   function?
   - Metabolic and behaviour flexibility : are dinoflagellates mainly
producers, consumers, and how is this influenced by the relation to the
   environment?
   - Meta-genomic insights into dinoflagellate distribution and
eco-physiology: where are dinoflagellates found in the wild, what do they
do, and how will this change in the coming century?

Both primary research (new results, technical advances) and review papers
are welcome in the Special Issue.

*Manuscript submission information:*

All interested researchers are invited to submit your manuscript at
https://www.editorialmanager.com/protis/default.aspx. To ensure that all
manuscripts are correctly identified for inclusion into the special issue,
it is important to select “*VSI: Dinoflagellates*” when you reach the
“Article Type” step in the submission process. All manuscripts will undergo
double-blind review as per the usual procedures for this journal. Deadline
for manuscript submissions: *September 30, 2025.*

Inquiries related to the special issue, including questions about
appropriate topics, may be sent electronically to the Guest Editor Dr. Richard
Dorrell
