Dear all,

I'm very sorry to have to tell you that Colin Reynolds, who proposed the
CSR functional group approach that we have been using in this project,
has been diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. I'm afraid that the
prognosis is not good, and he probably doesn't have very long left. For
those of us that already know, this has been a huge shock and is greatly
saddening. I'm sure those of you that know Colin and are finding out now
feel much the same. If you have any messages that you would like to pass
to Colin, reply to me and I'll see if I can get them to him.

Best wishes

Steve
