ALGAE BIOFUELS IN EUROPE and WORLDWIDE:  WHO'S WHO and SURVEY
QUESTIONNAIRE

Dear Colleagues,


Please find herewith a questionnaire which is sent to you as an action of
the European Project AquaFUELs, funded by the EC Commission under the VII
Framework Programme for research.

The European Biodiesel Board (EBB), as coordinator of AquaFUELs as well as
the European Algae Biomass Association (EABA) - also supported by the
project - look forward to your important contribution in order to establish
the status quo of development of algae biomass and algae based biofuels at
international level.

The aim of this questionnaire is to create a Who's Who Directory and Survey
on algae stakeholders at European and international level. This Directory
will provide accurate and up-to-date information about the status quo of
public and private initiatives in the field of algae biomass and their
actual level of development. It will include EU and global industrial and
academic initiatives (in separate sections), as well as individuals and
companies with activities and/or simple interest in this field (i.e.
commercial airlines, engineering companies, etc.).

Once completed, this survey will be an extremely useful tool for all algae
stakeholders worldwide. It will only take you a few minutes to fill out the
questionnaire attached to this email, but this will provide you with the
opportunity to be included in the Global Who's Who Directory and Survey,
that will be elaborated via your answers for the benefit of the entire algae
biomass sector.

In an effort to try to use in intelligent way your time the questionnaire
was subdivided in two parts:


1.     PART 1 (only one page): with basic questions (5 min. for answering)
2.     PART 2: with more detailed questions

You can fill only part one and fill part 2 later, you can give also partial
answer, except for mandatory zones (**)

Please fill the questionnaire whether you are actively and directly
implicated in the algae biomass sector or whether you just have an interest
in keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in this area.

Thanks also to attach your company/legal entity's logo to your response.
Sending jpeg images of your sites and labs is also welcome. Thanks also for
filling the questionnaire electronically, preferably in Word format, and
replacing the dots with your answers (insert function). Your reply should be
sent back to us at the address  <mailto:eaba at eaba-association.eu>
eaba at eaba-association.eu, possibly no later than Monday May 10th, 2010.
