The 7th International Symposium will be held in the Coque Conference
Center in Luxembourg City.
This symposium will focus on the current and future status of using
algae for monitoring rivers. The program will include keynote
lectures, oral presentations and poster sessions.

1st European Workshop on Diatom Taxonomy

Belvaux, 26-27 November 2009

The Workshop on Diatom Taxonomy will be organized at the Centre de
Recherche Public - Gabriel Lippmann in Belvaux near Luxembourg.

The 1st European Workshop on Diatom Taxonomy is planned to give an
opportunity to experts from different European countries to exchange
their knowledge on diatom taxonomy with the purpose to solve some
problematic identifications and work together on the most difficult
groups of diatom species, often present in European freshwater bodies.
