X Curso COI-AECI-IEO sobre BIOTIXINAS MARINAS

The deadline for submission of applications is 14 January 2008.

The course is open for applicants from Latin America and Africa only.

The course will be held in Vigo, Spain, in June 2009 (2-3 weeks) organised by the "COI-IEO Centro Cientifico y de Comunicacion sobre Algas Nocivas". The course is funded by the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO, the Agencia Española de Cooperacion Internacional (AECI) and the Instituto Español de Oceanografia (IEO). 

The focus this year will be on "Monitoring programmes on Marine Biotoxins according to European Regulations", and has been designed for experts with some background and experience in biotoxin analysis, who have to initiate or strengthen their national or regional monitoring programme on Marine Biotoxin. (Latin America and Africa). 

Up to 12 participants will be admitted. The language of the course is SPANISH.
