      Dear  friends and colleagues,   


      On behalf of the Organising Committee, I am very pleased to invite you to the sixth Shallow Lakes conference, named "Structure and Function of World Shallow Lakes".

      This will be held in Uruguay from the 23rd to 28th November 2008, in the area of Punta del Este (a seaside resort on the Atlantic Ocean coast).



      Attached is a simple questionnaire of the intent of participation, which we kindly ask you to fill in to help us estimate the amount of participants (and therefore the consequent space needs, costs and fees). 



      In case you have any questions or suggestions, please address them to the e-mail  shallowlakes2008 at gmail.com and/or consult the web page www.shallowlakes2008.org, where we will gradually include the relevant information about registration, sessions and abstracts submission.



      We also kindly ask you to share this information with your colleagues and related organisations.
