[coccoliths] Help with microfossil identification

Thanks to all for the information, papers and discussion.
The sample came form an outcrop near a river in Tierra del Fuego Island.
So, according to what you all said, it most probable that the Thecamebans
are contaminated. Still, it is weird since I prepared a little fresh piece
of the sample and smashed it in the mortar. It shouldn't be contaminated.
The entire sample was fresh and collected digging in the outcrop. It was
clean, no dirt...
Cheers,
Juan
