Erasmus Mundus Master of Science in Ecohydrology (ECOHYD)</STRONG></SPAN>
gathers the expertise from a consortium constituted to include complementary
expertises from four European HEI (Portugal, Poland, Netherlands and Germany)
and one Third Country University (Argentina). Expertise on estuarine and coastal
ecosystems Ecohydrology will be provided by the University of Algarve
(Portugal); expertise in freshwater and urban ecohydrology will be provided by
the University of Lodz (Poland); and the engineering and management components
will be provided by UNESCO-IHE (Netherlands) and University of Kiel

<P><STRONG>Sea acidification and allelopathy as mediators of toxic cyanobacteria
blooms in the future Baltic Sea<BR></STRONG>Post-doc position (2 yrs) - ARONIA
Research Institute at Abo Akademi University & Novia University of Applied
Sciences<BR>The practical work will take place onboard research vessel Aranda or
at Tvarminne Zoological Station, SW Finland. The post-doc will be based at the
new Ekenas/Tammisaari campus, Finland, joining the interdisciplinary ARONIA
Coastal Zone Research Team established in 2008.<BR>How to apply:<BR>We are
looking for a self-motivated person with a PhD, able to work independently and
in a team. The position is open from early 2010 (with some flexibility) until
the end of 2011 to anyone with an interest in phytoplankton ecology, Baltic Sea
biology or algal physiology. Previous experience of field and laboratory work
and skilful writing in English are desirable qualifications. The main funding is
