Position<BR><BR>GreenWater Laboratories/CyanoLab (GWL/CL) is a small private
laboratory located in Palatka, Florida (between Gainesville and St. Augustine,
FL) that specializes in the identification and quantification of algae and algal
toxins (</FONT><A href="http://www.greenwaterlab.com/"><FONT
face="Times New Roman" size=3>www.greenwaterlab.com</FONT></A><FONT
face="Times New Roman" size=3>). Currently, GWL/CL is actively looking for a
phycologist who has a background in identifying planktonic and epiphytic
freshwater algal species. Most work will involve laboratory microscopy analysis
(inverted microscope with phase/contrast and epifluorescence) but participation
in field and laboratory work (other than algal ID) will be necessary. Assistance
with mono-specific algal cultures may also be required. GWL/CL has a senior
phycologist on staff (Andrew Chapman) so guidance would be available but
extensive training is not intended. Knowledge of common computer skills and
applications is necessary and the ability to work independently is very
important. Hours are flexible and a FTE or PTE position would be considered
depen<BR>ding on the circumstances. Annual salary is commensurate with
experience. Relocation funds could be provided.<BR>If interested please contact
